She was born in Malvern on October 19, 1904 to the late Henry and Bessie Noble Means. Funk Funeral Home Eunice Greer Adams, age 93 of Malvern, died Monday morning, June 30, 2014 at her home. Reared and educated in Saline and Hot Spring Counties, she was a homemaker and the widow of the late Charlie L. Through the years, she plied her sewing abilities while working at Coleman’s Dress Shop, Malvern Cleaners, and Allen’s Sewing Center. Eunice was a longtime member of North Main Church of Christ.
The Means and Noble families have been a part of this local area for well over 150 years and included several doctors, judges, and lawyers in Hot Spring County and Arkansas. Abbott was educated in the Malvern Public Schools, graduating in the Class of 1922. She is survived by one grandson, Mark Abbott of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; by one granddaughter, Susan Reid of Dickinson, Texas; by five great-grandchildren, Lauren and Alan Abbott, and Valerie, Lauren, and Katelyn Reid; and by several nieces and nephews, including Virginia Abbott Robertson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
